Kiki Lucas is currently an Assistant Professor at Point Park University teaching jazz technique, contemporary partnering and Entrepreneurship in the Arts.. She is a PPU alumni and has been a part of the Point Park International Summer Dance faculty since 2002. Over the years her career has panned from Pittsburgh Pa, to Los Angeles, CA, to Houston, TX to Miami, FL as well as many international teaching credits.

She was the Resident Choreographer of Met Dance Co for 8 years as well as a company dancer for 11 seasons in Houston, TX. She recently spent a year in Miami ,FL presenting 3 successful full length evening performances as the Resident Choreographer of Mosaic Dance Project and faculty for Modas Dance .

Kiki has worked with artists over the years such as, Robert Battle, Kate Skarpetowska, Peter Chu, Pattie Obey, Salim Gaulwoods, Sidra Bell, Larry Kegwin ,Joe Celej, Jason McDole and Kiesha Lalama

Her choreography has been presented at Jacob’s Pillow Inside Out Stage in both 2012 and 2014, The Kennedy Center, Met Dance Co, Towson University, Marygrove College, Point Park University, University of Central Oklahoma and The Grier School

Her International Teaching Credits include: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Bogota, Manizales, Pareira, Colombia. Costa Rica. Panama City, Panama. Montevideo, Uruguay and Zamora, Mexico.

Kiki was interviewed and featured in Dance Teacher Magazine for being a strong force in the freelance teaching world as well as being named one of Houston’s 100 most creative people by the Houston Press.

She was a director of the Met Too Youth Company as well as on faculty at Theater Under the Stars in Houston , TX.
